The
Players Drama School The Little Players for
children aged 7 - 12 & The Players Drama School for teens 13 - 16 were
established in 1994 at The Playhouse. Since then the school has grown from 26 to
200 children. They meet once a week for workshops where they will study &
perform acting, singing & dancing, but of course it is much more than these
three areas of craft. Their inhibitions are swept away as it is a genuine
freeing of spirit. Drama is about communication, interaction, awareness &
liberation. It is therefore not only for those youngsters who are born naturals,
but also for those who lack direction, assurance & self-esteem. It is an
invaluable education. The principal has created such an environment & she is
