Booking Tickets
We encourage you to purchase your tickets online by following any of the “Ticket” links on our show pages. This helps reduce queues at the Box Office, limits the handling of tickets and payments, and allows us to offer a safer, faster service for everyone.
Once your transaction is complete, a link to download your tickets will be automatically emailed to the address you provide. You can either:
-
Print your tickets at home,
-
Keep them on your smartphone to show on entry, or
-
Download them to your phone’s Wallet app.
You may also request tickets to be sent by post for a small additional charge.
A separate payment receipt will also be emailed to you for your records.
Privacy & Security
We take your privacy seriously. Your personal details, including your email address, are used only by us and are never shared with any other organisation. We do not store any payment card information.
Box Office Telephone Sales
The telephone service for the Box Office is available only at the times advertised on the main Box Office page. Outside of these times, you’re welcome to leave a message and we’ll get back to you.
From 1st July 2025, The Playhouse Box Office phone number is:
📞 0333 666 3366
This number is handled by our ticketing partner, Ticketsource.
(Some individual shows may use a different contact number—please check the relevant show page for specific details.)
Purchasing at the Box Office
Tickets bought at the Box Office must be paid for at the time of booking by credit or debit card. An email address is required so we can send your tickets directly to you.
If you don’t use email, we can:
-
Post tickets to you (with a small charge to cover postage), or
-
Arrange for ticket collection at the Box Office when you arrive.
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Buying Tickets at the Door
Tickets may still be available on the door for most performances.
However, we prefer card payments to help minimise the handling of cash.
