An estranged father and son try to reconcile their differences over a friendly game of chess. There are moves behind moves as they each try to gain the upper hand. Nothing is as it seems. A bold move could win a stunning victory or lead to a crushing defeat. Does it matter? After all, it’s only a game, isn’t it?
