Inside Stories of the Tour de France
Matt Rendell in Conversation with Duncan Steer
ITV Tour de France commentator Matt Rendell joins us for a special evening, sharing stories from his 25 years’ covering the race – and his dealings with cycling’s big names from Eddy Merckx to Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish to Chris Froome.
In a revealing and entertaining night for cycling fans new and old, Matt brings a mix of first-hand experiences of the biggest races on the calendar, bizarre/hilarious personal tales and thought-provoking ideas about the future (and history) of the sport.
Matt Rendell will be in conversation with former Procycling magazine writer Duncan Steer, host of our two previous sell-out cycling nights at The Playhouse, with Carlton Kirby and Steve Cummings. There will be a chance to ask your own questions of Matt too.
